I became obsessed with indigo.

I have been fascinated by the deep and clear indigo color of “Indigo Island Japan. Everyday was a mass of exploration, which, to put it another way, was the same as expressing the work of drawing out the ”true feelings deep inside. Ibelieve that the same is true for “love” that lies deep in the heart, which Japanese people do not try to express honestly. Iwant to tell the story of Japanese color = indigo, love, on behalf of the heart. Ichose each and every form and word. The"AISHITERU" brand was born from this. Howcan I express this love, this indigo color, and how can I convey it? Loveinto shape. I want to convey and deliver it to many people in various forms.

“Indigo dyeing is the culture of Japan.”

The art of dyeing is not a skill of a person alone, but the life of the plants behind the colors is reflected through the colors, Withoutthe foundation on our side to accept and make the most of it, the color will lose its life. Everyplant has a cycle, and if it misses its cycle, it will not produce color. Even if color appears, it is not the essence of the plant. Forexample, it is a technique in which the entire tree, in order to produce a beautiful flower, slowly retrieves the statement stored in its body with the arrival of the season. Plantdyes are aptly called color is born and the dyer, nature prepares there, Thedyer is helping to bring out what nature has prepared and stored in the body,
It is not a matter of ingenuity, but of conformity to nature.

I have been captivated by the deep and clear indigo blue, dedicating 35 years of my life to this color. In particular, my pursuit of denim fabric and jeans, aiming to be the world's number one from Japan, has involved an intense focus on every step, from dyeing the raw cotton yarn to weaving and sewing, infused with the pride and passion of skilled craftsmen. Today, these efforts have earned high acclaim worldwide. At the core of my work is a commitment to innovation and proposals that challenge conventional ideas. The new brand "AISHITERU" is a true reflection of my life, a culmination that expresses my eternal love for craftsmanship.
